In Warframe there will be some damages occurred due to the attacker for a certain target. You may be an attacker who brings damage to your target or you may sometimes be a target who gets damaged by your enemy. One such damage that commonly occurs is Warframe Critical Damage. Here are the complete details regarding Critical Damage Warframe, how and when it occurs.
Warframe Critical Damage
Normally when the weapon strikes the damage occurs and with the increased strikes, the damage on enemies also increases. Those strikes are nothing but the Critical hits. Based on the weapon’s Critical Hit Chance, there will be a chance for the hit to be a Warframe Critical hit and that brings the Warframe Critical Damage. Also, if there is any additional damage caused by the critical hit, you can easily determine with the help of Critical damage multiplier of weapon. There will be a chance for each pellet or each attack in the case of Redeemer, Shotguns or similar weapons to make a critical hit.
Whenever there is a critical hit or when the weapon deals with crits (which is nothing but a critical hit), you can see the Warframe Critical Damage displayed as a Yellow instead of While on the Heads-Up Display (HUD). If the Crits are stronger than the Yellow one then the color will be in Orange. Red appears for even stronger Crits than the Orange one. However, the Crits on shields will be still in Blue color. Also, remember that you can always see the Yellow color for the attacks that are benefitting from the Stealth Damage Bonus even when they don’t Critical Hit.
Critical Hit Chance (Warframe Critical Chance)
In the above information, you may read the words Critical Hit Chance. What exactly it is? For each weapon, there is a chance to give a Critical hit. This is nothing but the Critical Hit Chance and it can be increased through various buffs and mods. When this Warframe Critical chance exceeds 100% then every strike of that weapon will be a Critical hit. When the chance is more than 100% then the Orange crit occurs which is displayed in orange as mentioned above.
And when the Critical Chance Warframe exceeds 200% then there will be a chance for Red crit with every attack. If Warframe Critical Chance mods exceed 300% then every attack will be a Guaranteed Red Critical Hit. Coming to the damage that these Crits cause, the Orange Crit gives more Warframe Critical Damage than the Yellow one. Then the Red Crit will obviously be a mother of all Critical hits in Warframe critical damage mod. Now, your question will be by how many these crits occur. Let’s see that from the below sections.
Critical Hit Chance increases are mostly related to the base chance. Relative increase is nothing but the multiple of these stacks which are additive with each other.
Base Crit Chance x (1 + Relative Bonus)
There will be absolute amounts of Critical Hit Chance with few attacks which include Arcane Avenger, Covenant, Maiming Strike, Cat’s Eye. These absolute increases are applied after the relative bonuses.
Base Crit Chance x (1 + Relative Bonus) + Absolute Bonus
After all other including Absolute Ones the Blood Rush and Gladiator Set Bonus increases and they are unique.
[Base Crit Chance x (1 + Relative Bonus) + Absolute Bonus] * (1 + Blood Rush x Combo Multiplier)
Warframe Critical Damage Multiplier
As mentioned above, whenever the Critical hit chance increases and the damage color changes. Means, when a Crit or Critical hit occurs, Critical hits damage increases and the value of the damage color changes to Yellow. You can know the status of how much a Critical hit is strengthened with the help on this Warframe Critical Damage Multiplier.
Base Crit Multiplier x (1 + Relative Bonus)
What are Crit Tiers?
With every hit, the weapon achieves a Critical hit chance. When that chance exceeds 100%, then every attack with that weapon will be a Warframe Critical Hit. That weapon also gains a chance to deal an even stronger critical hit or crit. Thus, the Critical damage tier increases as the Crit chance increases. These Crit Tiers increases continuously even when the color remains Red after a certain point.
When we give a Critical hit, there will be certain body parts of enemies which receive the additional Warframe Critical Damage when struck. Mostly the heads receive the additional damage. This damage which is based on location is generally a 2.0x multiplier. Whenever the strike is a crit, then it receives Additional damage bonus. The formula that it uses is,
Total Damage = Damage x Headshot Multiplier
